■Financial Planning and Analysis
• Co-lead Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and longterm financial plans for the brand.
• Co-lead in Forecasting: Contribute to quarterly and annual financial forecasts,
helping to project revenues, gross profits, EBIT, and cash flows.
• Deep-Dive Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses to derive
insights on brand performance, identifying underlying trends and anomalies.
• Model Development: Support the FP&A Senior Manager in creating and refining
financial models for various business scenarios.

■Reporting & Monitoring
• Data Compilation: Gather relevant data for financial reporting, ensuring its
accuracy and relevance.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor actual results against forecasted figures, helping in
analyzing discrepancies and providing initial interpretations.

■Stakeholder Collaboration
• Departmental Support: Collaborate with various departments, sourcing data and
insights required for financial analyses.
• Co-lead in HQ Interaction: Support the FP&A Senior Manager in engagements with
the FP&A team at HQ, ensuring alignment and information accuracy.
• Communication Support: Help prepare financial presentations and reports,
ensuring data clarity and relevance for the audience.

■Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure Compliance: Support the FP&A Senior Manager to ensure all financial
activities and reports align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Analysis: Assist in evaluating potential financial risks, and support in providing
recommendations for mitigation.

■Process Improvement
• Optimization: Assist in reviewing financial processes and recommend
enhancements for better efficiency.
• Tool Support: Assist in utilizing and improving the usage of financial software and
tools, helping to optimize their benefits for the brand.

• Language: Fluent in Japanese and Business level English required
• 3+ years in FP&A or financial reporting role
• Fashion, retail and/or FMCG industry experience preferable
• Interest in fashion and retail industry a plus

• Analytical Prowess: Ability to dive deep into financial data, uncovering trends, and
providing actionable insights.
• Technical Skillset: Familiarity with financial modeling tools like Excel, and a basic
understanding of ERP systems and financial software.
• Detail-Oriented: Precision is vital, ensuring that all analyses and reports are
accurate and of high quality.
• Communication: Ability to convey financial insights effectively, both in written and
verbal formats, supporting the FP&A Senior Manager in presentations and
stakeholder communications.
• Collaborative Nature: Willingness to work cross-functionally, understanding the
intricacies of various departments and their data needs.
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: Capable of identifying challenges and contributing to
potential solutions.
• Adaptable: Open to evolving business needs and willing to learn and incorporate
new tools and methodologies.
