Summary of job content:
Manages and executes the site’s accounting function, including cost accounting, audit and tax related matters.
Ensures adherence to closing procedures (monthly, quarterly, annual) and Accounting Guidelines & IFRS standards in
the field of expertise.
Is the interface of the site’s accounting function with Tokio and company's global accounting network
1. Oversees and maintains the organization's general ledger and related accounting practices, including payables,
receivables, inventories and fixed assets
2. Ensures and executes cost accounting, including direct cost and indirect overhead allocation, and inventory valuation,
calculation for Semi Finished, including slow-moving devaluation, and Work in Process
3. Prepare and ensures timely submission of the company’s financial statements, complying with company's accounting guidance
and IFRS and interacting with local Site Controller
4. Responsible for upload of annual budgets into SAP/BW
5. Assures that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the organization's accounting policies,
chart of accounts, and related accounting principles and practices, and that subordinate ledgers reconcile with the general
ledger
6. Contributes to optimize cash balance in Group company, by managing liquidity plan and bank/cash collection of the company
7. Ensures compliance of the organization’s practices with local tax regulations and coordinates and ensures the preparation
of tax returns and notifications. Involvement with tax authorities and tax consultants when applicable.
8. Responsible for financial and tax related audits and Internal Control of the company, including coordination
of and interface with external auditor
9. Is co-key user of SAP FI module (together with Site Controller)

Skills:
University degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or
equivalent
US CPA or Chartered Accountant
Good English communication (writing, reading,
presenting) skill
IT competence (Excel for data handling, PPT for
presentation), SAP
Reliable hands-on data input and data handling
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in overseeing the
accounting function of a production site and in closing
(monthly, quarterly, yearly closing)
Experienced in SAP operation (FI module), e.g.
manual data entry, retrieve report, organisation of
local routines to ensure appropriate uploads
Experience in tax audit, financial audit
Well established knowledge of IAS(IFRS)
Cost conscious and possess solid analytical skills.
Experience in interaction with external finance
stakeholders (e.g. authorities, external auditors) and
internal stakeholders outside of Japan (e.g. Group
Accounting department in Germany, Asia Finance hub
in Shanghai)
