Roles & Responsibilities
■Accounting Operations
・Performing the role of accounting manager for one of three legal entities at the initial stage.
・Appropriate monthly, quarterly and year-end processing, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, inventory control, cash flow analysis and fixed asset management, etc.
・Ensure that accounting entries and accruals are made properly.
・Work with Head & colleagues of F&A to ensure that all closing reporting package, ”CORA” includes Company’s consolidation data are timely submitted and in the compliance with the local and global accounting standard (IFRS)
・Proactively support Head of Accounting and Head of Controlling in managing/overseeing accounting cycle (monthly & annual closing and various audit including the tax inspection)
・Coordinate and complete annual accounting audit in collaboration with Head of Finance and Head of Controlling
・Comply with tax filing requirement by studying regulations, calculate and prepare Corporate tax, Consumption tax, Withholding tax, Customs, Revenue Stamps and so on payments including Transfer price management, and complete required tax reporting in a timely manner.
・Prepare “Local File” as Transfer Price Documentation of BEPS documents with an external tax consultant.
・Support improvement activities of Shared services and business process as Business Support Function
・Coordinate the internal accounting audit with the responsible of quality management and Head of Accounting.
・Improve the internal process focused on the level of efficiency to drive a whole efficiency as a company.
・Develop and support the accounting process of new business model.
■Essential Management Skill
・Interpersonal Communication Skills: An Assistant accounting manager must effectively communicate with the accounting team, staff from other departments, and the executive management. The ability to convey complex financial information clearly is essential.
・Strong Leadership: It's important to guide the team, boost motivation, and lead them towards achieving goals. Leadership skills are crucial for problem-solving and decision-making.
・Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly and effectively resolve issues that arise in accounting operations is necessary. Analytical skills and critical thinking are required.
・Time Management: Efficient time management skills are vital to meet deadlines and manage tasks effectively. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is also important.
・Attention to Detail: Accounting involves dealing with precise numbers and data, so attention to detail is crucial. Carefulness is required to prevent errors.
・Teamwork/Team Player: The ability to collaborate within the accounting team and coordinate with other departments is important. A cooperative attitude and flexibility are necessary.
・Stress Management: The ability to remain calm and perform tasks under pressure and tight deadlines is needed. Proper stress management and maintaining health are essential.
